A Girl And Her Dog

I'm going to be honest.  For the last few weeks, I've agonized over the decision to get Ella Bella.  I mean, do we really need the added expense and responsibility that a dog brings?  I have enough trouble keeping the girls from destroying the house - do I have the extra uummph I need to take care of a dog?  Would the money we would spend on her be better spent on dance lessons and swimming lessons for the girls or maybe gas for the car?  I am not usually this indecisive - okay, maybe I am - I just can't decide .  Well, yesterday was was the day.  Even though my mind wasn't exactly sure that we were doing the right thing, my heart evidently was, because I'd been pestering Erin for the last several days about when we could pick up Ella Bella.  Really, I think she was glad to let Ella Bella come home so she could be rid of my emails and phone calls .  And the minute I walked in and picked that sweet puppy up again, all my doubt and worry went out the window or the doggie door as the case may be.  I mean, really, how could you not love something this cute!

But the real proof that Steve & I made the right decision to get a puppy came yesterday evening after we got Ella Bella home.  I would do just about anything to see this joy on Gracie's face:
