Gracie and the Lightbox

What happens when you're four years old and your baby sister is napping and your mother is finished with her work for the day?  Did I mention that your mother has a new photography toy to play with, one she found while stalking the aisles at Wal-Mart with her camera?  Did I also mention your mother is crazy?

Well, when the new toy is a miniature lightbox set complete with teeny tiny studio lights, the first thing that happens is your mother steals your sister's toys and tries to make them appear larger than life.

Then, she's gonna nab your toys and try and display them like they are works of art

and finally, you know it's just a matter of time, she's gonna figure out that the teenie tiny studio lights would look really pretty shining on your face, but you're going to have to lie down on the floor as flat as possible because teenie tiny studio lights don't really have a very long reach.  And because you're a good sport, you're going to go along with her craziness

but eventually, you're going to start to lose interest

and finally, you're just going to have had enough.  You are only four after all...
