I just love it when things that really don't have anything to do with each come togther into something really, really cool.  Imagine my surprise a couple of weeks ago when I was trolling around scrapbook sites and found this place:

SongBird Avenue

It's a scrapbook store that sells charity kits.  May is the first month that they've opened shop - and guess what their inagural charity is?  The March of Dimes! The store is the work of two designers - Meredith Fenwick (who is one of my all time favorite designers), Jan Crowley (I've never worked with anything she's designed before, but her work on this kit is incredible!), and their guest designer this month is none other than the Shabby Princess

The kit is called Folkart and is full of blues and browns, perfect for those chocolaty black and white pictures that I'm so fond of.  So, of course I got the kit.  A donation to the March of Dimes, a beautiful kit - it's a win-win offer.

Here's the first layout I made with the kit.  It was for a lyric challenge at
GoDigitalScrapbooking

The pictures are from March.  Susu refused to share her tricycle with Ruby & Emmie.  So, Craig, ever the diplomat, went and got my bike with the bike seat on the back.  Of course, as soon as Susu saw that, she quickly lost interest in the trike.  We told her that she had to wait her turn to ride behind Uncle Craig.  Obviously, neither sharing nor waiting her turn are her fortes!

I'll write more in a bit -  Abbie's fever is up, but so are her spirits!  So, I'm off to play with my girls....

Yeah, well if Aunt Bronie had not been at Walmart at that moment, all those mean Morgans would have gotten an earful and the Willie would have gotten the first ride! I am so glad that little fat bird is feeling better, even if her fever is up. I am praying that it goes down! ILYLALALALALALAL!
